Hampshire Dog Club Terms & Conditions
Please take the time to read through our terms and conditions. This document also covers our club rules and our data protection policy.
**The management /owners of Hampshire Dog Club accept no liability for any injury to persons or animals resulting from use of the equipment or facilities on site.**
**All vehicles and contents are left at owners own risk.**
DOG DAY CARE
We can not administer any food or medication to your dog during their stay
If you wish your dog to be exercised alone then please advise us of this in writing beforehand.
You must book your dog into day care at least 24 hours beforehand.
If you cancel your day care booking less than 24 hours in advance you will still be charged.
Attendance to any of our training classes is at your own risk. Dogs can be unpredictable in their behaviour at times and although the risk is minimal, that is the nature of a dog in a training environment.
You are responsible for your dog at all times.
Do not give other dogs treats without seeking the owners permission.
Please arrive to class 10 minutes before the class start time to settle your dog.
Report to reception prior to entering any training area.
Payment must be made before entering the class. If you are a member then please present your membership card at reception.
Additional dog i.e one handler with 2 dogs can split the class as they see fit to enable training for each dog.
Additional dogs with a handler each will be charged separately.
Do not allow your dog to train if injured in any way.
Bitches in season can not attend training.
Dogs must be a minimum of 12 months old to do agility training.
To undertake agility training your dog should already have basic obedience.
Do not feed your dog for at least 2 hours before doing any training.
Please bring with you a motivational toy and/or some high value soft treats your dog likes.
Your control equipment should be fit for purpose.
Your dog must be kept on a lead at all times unless otherwise instructed.
Any faeces deposited by your dog must be picked up immediately, bagged and disposed of in the bins provided.
Dogs with known serious aggression issues will not be allowed to undertake group sessions. If in doubt enquire beforehand.
Socialisation sessions after classes are optional and always at the owners discretion.
Individual 1-2-1 training is offered for all classes offered.
All dogs must have up to date vaccinations or valid Titre tested evidence to undertake any training.
Spectators are welcome as long as they do not interfere with the training. Children must be supervised by an appropriate adult at all times whilst on site.
Membership is only for 2 dogs per household. Additional dogs will incur an extra charge.
Membership is based on use of facilities by one handler at a time.
GOLD and SILVER members qualify for 50% off some course as stated. You must be a member, of the same level, for the duration of the course to qualify or full course fee applies.
Membership card must be presented before using any of the club facilities.
5% discount on all dog products for GOLD and SILVER members.
Memberships paid for using a standing order will have access to the booking system in advance for the duration of the membership arrangement. Payments will be checked monthly and failure of payment will result in future booked facilities removed from the system. It is your responsibility to ensure payment is made on time and we accept no responsibility if you are unable to secure previously booked facilities if you are late with payment.
SECURE EXERCISE FIELDS
Availability of secure fields is on a first come first serve basis.
If you are not a member and have more than 1 dog then additional charges will apply due to wear and tear on the fields.
All equipment is for dog use only.
If you chose to use the agility equipment located in field 2 please note Hampshire Dog Club accepts no liability for any injury to persons or animals resulting from use of any of the equipment or facilities on site.
You must pick up after your dog. Repeat offenders will be banned.
When using Field 1 please keep your dog on the lead until you have secured the second gate.
You are not to leave your dogs unattended in the field.
You must report to reception before using either of the fields regardless if you are a member or not.
Payment of the field must be made before using the field. This can be paid at reception.
If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours in advance you will still be charged.
Membership is for dogs owned personally by the member. Any other dogs exercised in the field must be paid for regardless of membership.
All gates must be kept closed at all times.
You are responsible for your dogs behaviour at all times.
Behavioural assessment costs may increase if more than one dog is present for assessment due to the increased amount of time required.
Home visits will incur additional travel charges based upon distance/time involved.
Payment for 1-2-1’s must be paid for at the time of booking.
Refunds for a cancelled 1-2-1 is only applicable if made at least 24 hours in advance.
Rescheduling of appointments must be requested 24 hours before the original appointment commences or you will be charged.
DIY GROOMING ROOM
Although we do provide shampoo for your dog we accept no liability for any adverse reaction your dog may have. You are welcome to bring your own toiletries to bathe your dog.
We do not provide towels.
Please leave the grooming room in a respectable condition after use.
Your dog must be at least 12 months old before using any of the agility equipment.
A 5% discount is available on all purchases if you are a GOLD or SILVER member. Your card must be valid and presented at the time of the transaction.
Any purchases made, upon your behalf as a special request, must be paid for in advance.
Minimum transaction value applies (currently £5.00)
We do all we can to ensure your information is kept confidential. Our computers are password encrypted and all paperwork is locked in a secure filing cabinet. These are stored in offices with heavy duty pass lock controlled doors. Only staff members have access.
If you decide to stop using the club for any reason you can request for your data to be erased. This has to be done in writing to Sean@Hampshiredog.club However, upon return to the club you will be treated as a new client therefore all information will be required again.
All information obtained via forms is strictly confidential.
Your details are stored on a secure computer that is only accessed by staff and simplybook.me (if you book online)

You are only asked for your email address for our newsletter, which is optional, to access the online booking system and receive confirmation emails of bookings made.
Your dogs microchip number is requested as your dog must be microchipped by law.
We do not share your details to anyone else and if we do we will seek your permission beforehand. This may include vets and other bodies.
As from 1st of June 2018 ALL assessment payments will be taken at the time of booking.
You must bring your dogs vaccinations or Titre testing with you to your dogs appointment.
As from the 1st of July 2018 ALL 1-2-1 bookings will require payment at the time of booking.
For ALL card transactions there is a £5.00 minimum charge.
Hampshire Dog Club operates a 24 hour cancellation policy.
No shows and cancellations UNDER 24 hours will still be charged. Repeat offenders will be banned. If you have a genuine reason then you can appeal in writing to Sean@hampshiredog.club
If Hampshire Dog Club needs to cancel any booking you have made, 24 hours notice will be given or the offer of another available trainer.
Please ensure you have filled out a registration form for your dog.
We train even if it rains so no excuse.
We take complaints very seriously. If you are dissatisfied for any reason then please contact a member of staff. If the issue can not be resolved then please email Sean@hampshiredog.club who will investigate the matter further.
This list is not exhaustive and will be added to and amended as required. It is your duty to ensure you read our terms and conditions each time before you agree to a booking, payment or membership.
