What is competition agility all about? At competition level you and your dog must work together around a course as quickly and efficently as possible in the hope that your time has beaten the other competitors. Your dog must be 18 months old to compete.
How old does my dog need to be? Your dog must be 12 months of age to take this class and have a high level of understanding whilst using the agility course safely.
What can I expect with my dog from this class?
When does the class run? We currently are not running this course but will arrange one later on in the year. You can book 1-2-1 agility lessons if required which cost £20 for 45 minutes.
What should I bring to class? Do not feed your dog at least 2 hours before doing any training. Please ensure you bring with you a motivational toy and/or high value soft treats that your dog likes. Poo bags are also essential, however if you have forgotten bags or treats, you can buy them from our dog shop on site. Please ensure you have completed our annual registration form found here before using any of the sites facilities.
How much does the class cost? Each class costs £12. Spectators are welcome as long as they do not interfere with the training. Children must be supervised by an appropriate adult at all times whilst on site. Toilets are available and free tea and coffee is provided at the end of the class whilst the dogs socialise. You are responsible for your dogs behaviour at all times. Dogs can be unpredictable in their behaviour at times and although the risk is minimal that is the nature of a dog training and socialisation environment. Do not bring your dog to class if she is in season. Please read our full terms and conditions for further details.
